The First 3 Sunscreen I tried so far. A must read to review!
I only started using sun cream last year. With the hype that Korean Skincare products give, I learned that Sunscreen provides protection we need from direct sunlight that usually causes impurities on our skin. According to some sources, applying sunscreen prevent skin from early signs of aging. I, in my 30s, feel so alarmed so even I have lots of skincare products applying on my face, I still need to consider to apply the last one, SUNSCREEN.
Here's the first 3 sunscreen I tried so far... Pros and Cons are based on info from the packaging and of course from my experiences.. What is good for you may not be good for me and vice versa. Enjoy reading.
1. HELLO GLOW SUNSCREEN SUNCARE GEL (50 g)
Made in Korea
Claims:
3-in-1: Smoothen, protects and Moisturize
It smells like a typical sunblock or sun cream. The texture is not gel but instead a diluted cream that you can see white and transparent liquid.
Pros:
Affordable
Portable
Comes with cute packaging
Cruelty-free
Paraben-free
Alcohol-free
Gluten-free
Vegan
No white cast
Cons:
I don't feel like it is really great as sun cream. I bought this two times but I didn't feel any improvement when I used this. I immediately stopped using it. Maybe it worked for others, sadly, it's just not for me. :(
2. Juju Glow Sunscreen Protection Advanced UVA/UVB Protection Broad Spectrum SPF 45 PA++ (50g)
It smells like a bubble gum. It has creamy and thick texture. It is quite hard to blend on the skin thus it leaves some white cast. Unfortunately, I don't have much to say about this sunscreen because I only use this for 2 days after I noticed some breakouts.
Made in the Philippines
Pros:
Paraben-free
Affordable
Smells like bubble gum
Portable
Cute packaging (pink)
Cons:
I had some breakouts after 2 days of using this. I immediately stopped using it. Maybe it worked for others, sadly, it's just not for me. :(
3. SOME BY MI Truecica Mineral Calming Tone Up Suncream SPF 50+ PA++++ (50 g)
The reason why I tried this was because of the ads in the social media. like the tea tree scent it has. It looks mild but it has thick consistency that make it not spreadable for me. Some white cast is evident too and doesn't totally disappear after a while.
Made in Korea
Pros:
Tea Tree Scent
It tones up the skin
It has a mild cooling effect but will disappear in a while
Portable
Cons:
Kind of expensive for me
Kind of thick texture, hard for me to blend
