My Skincare Routine

I am fond of using Korean Products as you can see in my other blogs. This time, I will share to you my step-by-step skincare routine. This is not sponsored since I am not going to mention the products I use. You can choose whatever skincare products you may want.

Step 1. Facial Wash

Cleansing the face is the first thing to do before applying any other skincare products. I use facial wash cream. Facial foam kind of irritates my face. I don't use exfoliator since my skin is kind of sensitive. I use micellar product to wipe away the make up whenever I wear one. I rarely wear make up because I want to keep my face moist and glassy like what I see from Koreans. Yes, wash your face at least twice daily with a decent amount of facial wash and of course rinse well.

Step 2: Toner

After washing your face and damping it by a dry clotheI have been using a toner for years now and I realized that non-alcohol toner is a holy grail! I always choose products that do not have parabens and alcohol. Avoiding these ingredients on your face will definitely help you attain the moist skin you wish.

Step 3: Serum

After toner, you can apply the serum you want. I don't use the same serum everyday. I have like 3 types of serum but I use 1 type at a time. This is to ensure that my skin gets the nutrients it needs without overly applying it. Always remember in applying skincare products,  more amount doesn't mean more quality.

When it comes to ampoule, I don't use it much since I tried it before, it irritated my skin and it became itchy.

Step 4: Emulsion

Emulsion is underrated. It adds and locks moisture deep within the skin. It is a must to use if we want to keep the moist on the skin for hours.

Step 5:  Eye cream

Do not forget the skin around your eyes. These are very delicate and when it lacks moisture, crow feet might eventually appear. When putting an eye cream, just slightly tap it on the skin, do not smudge or rub it.

Step 7: Moisture cream

This is not the last step on my skincare routine though it was my last step before. Anyway, cream protects the skin from drying.

Step 8: Sun cream / Sunscreen

I only started using suncream this year. This is because of the educational vlogs I watched from experts. They said suncream protect the collagen from breaking early. It protects the skin from aging and from the damage that can cause by the sun. They said that it prevents the skin from having skin cancer. However, do not rely solely on using sun cream to protect your skin from the sun, always use umbrella or any other thing to protect your skin from the sun.

* I rarely use facial mask and nose strip because my skin is delicate. I apply skincare products in all seasons. I also change the brand of skincare products I use. I apply lotion and sun cream to my arms and legs. What may works for me may not work for you and vice versa. Always check the ingredients if it has allergens.

Do we have the same skincare routine? What are the skincare products you use?
